1. Data controller

PUMPS EXPERT SRL, registered at B-dul Timișoara, No. 89, Bl. C1.11, Sc. C, 2nd floor, Ap. 46, Sector 6, Bucharest, Romania (“Pumps Expert”, “we”), is the controller of the personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at office@pumpsexpert.ro or +40 722 430 702.

2. What data we process and why

2.1 Email and phone correspondence

When you email or call us, we process the data you choose to share — typically your name, company, contact details and the content of your message. Purpose: to answer you and prepare the requested quotation. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The site contains no forms — you contact us directly, from your own email client or by phone. We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to manage the business relationship, then delete it.

2.2 Web fonts

The site's fonts (Space Grotesk, Inter and IBM Plex Mono) are self-hosted on our own server — they are not loaded from Google Fonts. As a result, your browser does not transmit your IP address to Google or any other third party to display the fonts.

2.3 Server logs

Our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) in server logs, for the security and operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Cookies and local storage

This site uses no marketing, analytics or tracking cookies. The only item stored in your browser is a local-storage record (localStorage, key “pe-cookie-ack”) remembering that you dismissed the cookie notice, so we don’t show it on every visit. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings; the only consequence is that the notice reappears.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your data. It can only be accessed by the providers that help us operate the site (our hosting provider) and our email provider, bound by confidentiality obligations, and by authorities where the law requires it.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. To exercise these rights, write to office@pumpsexpert.ro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).

6. Changes

We may update this policy when the way the site works changes. The current version and its date are shown on this page.
