1. Data controller

PUMPS EXPERT SRL, registered at B-dul Timișoara, No. 89, Bl. C1.11, Sc. C, 2nd floor, Ap. 46, Sector 6, Bucharest, Romania (“Pumps Expert”, “we”), is the controller of the personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at office@pumpsexpert.ro or +40 722 430 702.

2. What data we process and why

2.1 Email correspondence

When you email or call us, we process the data you choose to share — typically your name, email address or phone number and the details of your enquiry. Purpose: to answer you and prepare the requested quotation. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to manage the business relationship, then delete it.

2.2 Web fonts

The site loads the Space Grotesk and IBM Plex Mono fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). When loading them, your browser transmits your IP address to Google — a technical processing required to deliver the files. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

2.3 Server logs

Our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) in server logs, for the security and operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Cookies and local storage

This site uses no marketing, analytics or tracking cookies. The only item stored in your browser is a local-storage record (localStorage, key “pe-cookie-ack”) remembering that you dismissed the cookie notice, so we don’t show it on every visit. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings; the only consequence is that the notice reappears.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your data. It can only be accessed by the providers that help us operate the site (our hosting provider) and our email provider, bound by confidentiality obligations, and by authorities where the law requires it.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. To exercise these rights, write to office@pumpsexpert.ro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).

We may update this policy when the way the site works changes. The current version and its date are shown on this page.
